Cashcade fees
Cashcade keeps a share of confirmed earnings that flow through its payment path: 30 percent on the Starter level and 15 percent on the Pro level, as planned for launch. It is shown before work starts. This page sets out what it covers, what is separate and what is not decided yet.

The rates
| Level | Software fee | For |
|---|---|---|
| Starter | 30 percent of confirmed earnings that flow through Cashcade | Guided steps with the tools included |
| Pro | 15 percent of confirmed earnings that flow through Cashcade | Operators who run several businesses and carry their own tool costs |
The exact definition of the Pro level is not final during the closed test. Any change to these rates is dated in the changes list at the bottom of this page.
How it is calculated
The fee is a percentage of the amount that is confirmed through Cashcade's payment path. It is not charged on demo amounts. On a $100 payment that flows through Cashcade, the software fee is $30 on Starter and $15 on Pro. That is arithmetic to show how the percentage works, not a forecast of what you will receive.[1]
You see the split before you accept work: what the payer is charged, the software fee and what is left for you. Nothing is deducted that was not shown.
What the fee covers
- The software that drafts, edits, checks and tracks your work.
- The payment path that confirms money and keeps pending and confirmed apart.
- The compute behind the tools at the Starter level.
- The disclosure, rights and quality checks built into each step.
What is separate from the software fee
| Cost | Who charges it | Status |
|---|---|---|
| Payment processing on an invoice | The payment provider | Not final in the closed test |
| Payout fees | The payout provider | Not final in the closed test |
| Platform fees, such as a marketplace or store fee | The platform you sell on | Set by that platform; see the guide for the business |
| Hosting, domains and tools you choose | Their providers | Priced by those providers; see the guide for the business |
| Taxes | Your tax authority | Depends on where you live; ask a qualified professional |
What is not decided yet
- Whether payment processing and payout costs are passed through or absorbed.
- The exact definition of the Pro level and how a person moves to it.
- Minimum payout amounts and timing for each payout route.
Cashcade will not claim a free start or a fee-free experience until the complete cost of using it is final and can be shown on the same path as the sign-up.
