Cashcade vs Fiverr and Upwork
Fiverr and Upwork are freelance marketplaces: they list your service, connect you to buyers and hold payment between you. Cashcade is software that guides you through running the business, and it does not list you. The fee figures for both marketplaces could not be read from their own pages, so those rows are marked as not verified.

How to read the status column
- Verified
- Read on the company's own public page on the date shown.
- Stated
- How the company describes itself.
- Not verified
- Could not be confirmed from a first-party page. Nothing is presented as fact.
Where Fiverr and Upwork is stronger
- Demand: buyers are already on the marketplace, which removes the hardest step for a new freelancer.
- Payment protection and dispute handling are built into the platform.
- Established reputation systems, so a track record builds on the platform.
- Breadth across every kind of service, not video alone.
Who each is for
A marketplace is the right place if you want buyers to find you and you are comfortable competing on a listing. For many freelancers it is still the quickest route to a first paid job because the buyers are already there.
Cashcade is for someone building a service business they run themselves: choosing a niche, packaging an offer, reaching owners in their own name, delivering and reporting. The software shortens the work; it does not supply demand. If you need buyers on day one, pair the two.
Where Cashcade differs
- The client relationship is yours: the outreach goes from your name and your mailbox.
- Every step has a done-when condition, so progress is visible rather than a list of open bids.
- Nothing is posted or sent without you.
- The software fee is stated before work starts.
A marketplace gives you demand. Cashcade does not, and says so. That is the main reason to use both.
How to read this page
Every row was read on 2026-10-15. Verified means it was read on the company's own public page. Stated is a description the company gives of itself. Not verified means we could not read a first-party page for it, and the third-party figures that exist are shown as reported and never as fact. Both marketplaces' own fee pages could not be read on the retrieval date.
