MRR
Definition
MRR, or monthly recurring revenue, is the predictable subscription revenue a product collects each month from its current customers, normalised to a monthly figure. It excludes one-time payments and is a measure of a subscription business, not a promise of future income.

What MRR means
A customer on an annual plan contributes one twelfth of the plan price to MRR each month. Refunds, downgrades and cancellations reduce it, and new subscriptions increase it.[1]
Why it matters
Cashcade shows recurring revenue when payment events confirm it. A self-reported figure is not accepted, because a number you type in is not evidence of a number that settled.[1]
