CPM
Definition
CPM, or cost per mille, is the price for each thousand views or impressions. In clipping, campaigns commonly quote what they pay per 1,000 qualified views, which makes the rate a CPM-style figure, and the unit should be checked on every offer.

What CPM means
A campaign's documentation may give an example rate per 1,000 views, a minimum payout and a cap. Cards may quote the same rate per million views, so the same number can look a thousand times larger or smaller.[1]
Why it matters
Cashcade uses one unit everywhere, per 1,000 views, and shows the cap and remaining budget before you cut a clip. A rate is a property of an offer, not a forecast of what you will be paid.[1]
